Independent heating for apartments from central plant

Individually controlled and metered heating and hot water for apartments from central plant is provided by the Domocal thermal unit from Watts Industries.

The Domocal range of thermal units from Watts Industries can connect flats and apartments to district-heating systems or a central boiler room to provide individual control. These units provide total freedom of operating times and temperature, and there is no limit on the quantity and quality of hot water available. Domestic hot water is generated on demand, so there is no need for storage. Energy used is metered individually. Serving each apartment from a central point is said to be more energy efficient — using 23% less fuel and requiring 65% less energy for heating. Domocal also eliminates the need for individual boilers in each flat — with their associated flueing issues.
