Restoring the fire integrity of fire-rated ceilings penetrated by downlighters — Scolmore’s new Flameguard guide.

Scolmore International has released a new edition of its Flameguard catalogue following the granting of UK patent rights covering this heat-resistant casing for downlights to protect against the spread of fire. Flameguard is now incorporated into a wide selection of Scolmore low-voltage and mains downlighters. It is a quick and effective method of providing fire- and acoustic-rated properties to fittings installed in normally fire-resistant materials. Scolmore now offers a Flameguard protected downlighter to fit virtually every installation requirement.
