High-capacity drainage system

drainage
Surface drainage with fewer channels — Hauraton’s Recyfix-HiCap system.
Hauraton’s Recyfix-HiCap range of high-capacity slot drainage channels facilitate the run off of rainwater from large landscaped tarmac and concrete surfaces. The channels are injection moulded from polyethylene-polypropylene and can be matched with a choice of ductile-iron slots. They include a heel-safe version, and all are suitable for loadings up to F900 Class. The HiCap system could reduce the number of runs needed to drain an area — with the benefits of fewer underground excavations, less materials and vastly reduced installation time. All but the largest size weigh less than 25 kg, so that mechanical handling is not needed. Caps for the ends of runs and pipe-connection sockets have other connection points moulded into the sides and/or bottom of each channel. There are five sizes of HiCap with volumes from 28 to 415 litres per metre. Different sizes can readily be linked. Hauraton offers a free service for hydraulic calculations and specifying components.
