CIBSE updates its reference data

CIBSE has prepared a new edition of its ‘Guide C: Reference data’. The changes to this edition reflect the refinement of measurement and calculation techniques that become essential as research progresses. It also incorporates the latest European research on the flow of fluids in pipes and ducts. The tables providing precalculated pressure drops through pipes are felt to be outmoded, and a spreadsheet to calculate accurate pressure drops is provided on a CD-ROM with the new guide.
