Merger paves way for CIAT expansion in the UK

CIAT UK and Ozonair Hydronic, both owned by the CIAT Group, have been merged to form a new company CIAT Ozonair. The development brings the refrigeration products, close-control units, fan coils and exchangers made by CIAT together with air-handling units made by Ozonair Hydronic. The new company is based in Byfleet and acts as a major single-source supplier of integrated HVAC solutions. The wide range of products is mutually compatible and includes products designed for specific markets such as healthcare, leisure and commercial. The new company can also offer specifiers and buyers a comprehensive installation and maintenance service. CIAT is market leader in France, its home country, and the fourth largest company of its type in Europe. Roy Nutley has been appointed general manager of CIAT Ozonair, with John Barter as contracts manager. Roy Nutley says, ‘Our long-term goal is to become a market leader in the UK. To this end, we have no shortage of resources. Group investment has already enabled us to increase our sales and support staff to provide an even better service to customers, There will be lots more to come.’
