Innovation drives product success

Nozzles
Any throw you like — the nozzles in Colman’s N Series of diffusers can be individually adjusted.
The design features of Colman’s N Series of nozzle diffusers are said to be a major factor in the product’s success. Based on a patented design, these nozzle diffusers provide architects and designers with total flexibility when considering the air-distribution requirements of a project. The nozzle diffusers achieve maximum induction and coanda effect. Air from the room is drawn into the diffuser’s air streams, and cooling is achieved outside of the occupied zone, creating comfortable air movement and temperature conditions. Each nozzle emits an air stream at about 30° to the surface it is mounted in. Any air pattern can be achieved simply by swivelling individual nozzles. Each nozzle provides a high induction effect, and the shape of the air stream provides a large surface area compared with its cross section. If the layout of the room is altered and requires a change in the direction of airflow, nozzles can be adjusted to the desired throw. Diffusers with round and square necks are offered for installation into all types of ceiling system.
