Lochinvar’s EcoKnight gas-fired water heating is fully condensing.
Lochinvar’s EcoKnight fully condensing gas-fired water heater is available as five models with hot-water outputs from 710 to 2400 l/h, based on a temperature rise of 50 K. These water heaters offer thermal efficiencies of up to 109%, nett, and have burners that modulate down to 20% of full output as demand requires. A stainless-steel heat exchanger has high resistance to corrosion caused by condensation from low entering-water temperatures. The design also eliminates the impact of limescale formation. Control features include built-in cascade sequencing of up to eight units, integral time and pump control, including pump over-run, and an anti-legionella feature. EcoKnight units can be fuelled by natural gas or LPG.
