A range of training opportunities for Potterton Commercial boilers and Andrews Water Heaters products is provided in this recently opened training centre.
Baxi’s commercial-heating training academy at Erdington in the West Midlands is fully equipped with boilers from Potterton Commercial and water-heating products from Andrews Water Heaters. All the appliances are live, enabling training to be delivered on products, installations, commissioning, servicing and fault finding. This ‘knowledge hub’ is available to consultants, contractors, installers and merchants and specialises in totally integrated boiler-house solutions, particularly those using renewable and sustainable technologies. Larger end-user organisations are welcome to use the facility, as well as heating engineers with the relevant gas training to attend appliance service courses. There is a separate theory room for coursework, fully equipped with presentation and communication equipment. This room is also available for CPD courses. A programme of training courses and CPD presentations for 2008 is available.
