Infra-red detector for LPG

Crowcon’s Xgard IR detector for LPG is a low-cost fixed-gas detector to detect LPG hazards before concentrations reach flammable levels. Typical environments requiring such monitoring include hotels, hospitals or offices that use LPG as their main gas supply. This detector is said to be immune to the poisoning that affects catalytic pellistors. The detection range is 0 to 100% of the lower explosive limit. A sensor has a life expectancy of over five years and is a simply plug-in module that makes replacement quick and easy.
