Pumped pressurisation units maintain system pressure

The extensive Chesil range of compact pumped pressurisation units from Hamworthy Heating includes floor-standing and wall-hung models. They are suitable for heating and chiller systems in commercial buildings. Using a pumped pressurisation unit in a commercial building eliminates the need to store a large volume of water in a tank at high level to create the system head. It also removes dependence on mains water pressure to create the system head. The Chesil range is available for systems with cold-fill pressures of up to 3.4 bar. There is a choice of standard or electronic controls, and all models are compatible with building-management systems. There are three floor-standing models, including a twin-pump electronic version that can be used in a duty/standby arrangement. The three wall-hung models also offer a choice of controls, plus an innovative model designed to maintain system pressure in a solar-collector circuit. The glycol mix in a solar hydraulic circuit can be maintained via the break tank to ensure the circuit is always topped up and the pressure maintained.
