Electrical testing is a matter of continuing trust for hospital trust

Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust continues to outsource the work required to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations, rather than use its own in-house maintenance staff. The contract with Parkersell’s specialist electrical testing and inspection division has been renewed for a third time. As Parkersell has undertaken a continuous programme of testing fixed wiring, the hospital has been able to accurately predict pre-budget known costs and plan ahead to finance upgrades where required. Over the period of previous contracts, Parkersell’s engineers have become totally familiar with the layout of the hospital and also become an integral and essential part of the trust’s own maintenance team.
