Sanyo’s new commercial split systems achieve high EERs

Sanyo’s Elite PACi range of commercial split air-conditioning systems features a newly developed heat exchanger and outdoor fan to achieve high EERs of up to 4.1 at rated conditions, a 25% improvement on previous versions, and up to 4.7 at UK conditions. They use R410A. The variable-speed Sanyo twin rotary compressor has perfectly balanced dual rotors, enabling units to achieve sound levels of 53 dB(A) and 45 dB(A) in ‘silent’ mode. Up to four indoor units can be connected to one outdoor unit. There are eight styles of indoor unit, including the XM Mini Cassette and the ultra US ducted unit. Piping length has been increased by 40% to 70 m.
