Integrated roof kits for solar thermal water heating

Dimplex
Dimplex has added integrated roof kits to its solar-thermal hot-water system. The design of Dimplex’s integrated roof-mounting kit makes installation quick and easy by providing the weatherproofing integrity of the roof structure without having to install the collector at the same time. The collector itself can be installed once the roof covering has been applied, simplifying scheduling of the build programme by allowing roofing and plumbing trades to work autonomously. Available for slate or tile roof coverings, these kits use the same connection fittings as standard roof fixing kits and allow for installation of 2, 4 and 6 m2 across one, two or three panels. New solar accessories include a flush-and-fill pump cart, heat-transfer test kit and insulated stainless-steel flexible hoses in lengths of 10 and 15 m. Additional solar controllers and roof-flashing kits will be introduced soon. For simplify of specification, there is a choice of 15 pre-packaged kits.
