Negative-pressure heat exchangers enhance safety of Vulcana Kestrel gas heaters

Vulcana Kestrel room-sealed gas heaters are universally fitted with negative-pressure heat exchangers, so that if the heat exchanger should fail, combustion products would be safely vented to atmosphere. Heaters operating at positive pressure would vent those products into the room, as highlighted by recent announcements emphasising the importance to safety of installing room-sealed gas heating with negative-pressure heat exchangers rather than those operating at positive pressure. Kestrel heaters also do not take air from within the building to support combustion, so no cold air is drawn into the room. Kestrel heaters are available with outputs from 4.4 to 11.7 kW.
