GSH Group wins Green Apple Award

GSH Group, which provides facilities and energy-management solutions internationally, has won the silver Green Apple Award for its environmental best practice. The award was in recognition of its fleet-management project, the GSH vehicle-tracking system. To reduce its carbon footprint and achieve operating efficiencies across its team of over 500 on-call field engineers, GSH Group invested in an advanced vehicle-tracking system. It provides a clearer picture of the locations of mobile service teams, so the most appropriate engineer for a job can be identified. The Green Apples Awards campaign is run by The Green Organisation, an independent, non-political, non-profit organisation that recognises, rewards and promotes environmental best practice around the world. Supporters include the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institution of Waste Management , the Chartered Institution of Environmental Health and various other professional bodies.
