Control of emergency lighting completes Ridi’s networked lighting range

Following the recent introduction of its Control3 energy-saving lighting-management system, Ridi has introduced the ControlE managed emergency-lighting system. The software-based control system uses TCP/IP and DALI networks and enablesall of a building’s emergency-lighting capabilities to be managed through any networked PC. A 2-way communication system can automatically test and report any fault in a system, removing the need for time-consuming site tests. Aside from legalities, an efficiently structured means of monitoring emergency lighting that offers seamless operation, and maintenance makes a vital contribution to safety and security.
