Lisa and Jonathan Wilkinson, the brother and sister team at t-mac Technologies were photographed by renowned photographer Rankin for their prize as winner in the third annual BT Business Essence of the Entrepreneur competition, judged by a panel including ‘Dragon’s den’ star Peter Jones.

T-mac Technologies was one of 20 entrepreneurs to be recognised by BT Business as a winner by demonstrating that it had found new directions to succeed in business with the help of technology. Its t-mac device can monitor, meter, manage and control energy consumption for almost every industry — with information immediately available on the Internet.

‘Lisa Wilkinson, business-development director, said, ‘The photo shoot was a fantastic experience, and we are thrilled to have been chosen by some of the leading business names in Britain to receive this award.

‘We have invested a significant amount of time and effort developing our t-mac energy-management range and are pleased to be recognised for offering a product and service that utilises the latest technology and which helps businesses worldwide reduce utility bills and cut CO2 emissions.’
