Hotel refurbishes with Samsung DVM air conditioning

Samsung

Samsung’s DVM (Digital Variable Multi) air-conditioning system is providing efficient cooling and heating in refurbished bedrooms at a country house hotel near Stratford-upon-Avon. The 20 hp heat-pump system drives 24 slim one-way cassettes in the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel’s contemporary Barford bedrooms.

DVM is Samsung’s development of the VRF (variable refrigerant flow) principle.

The two 10 hp outdoor units deliver 56 kW of cooling or 63 kW of heating. The cassette units in the rooms have noise levels of only 30 dB(A) at full speed. The system is controlled centrally through Samsung’s PC-base S-NET 2 system.
