CIBSE announces new 2009 carbon clean-up campaign

CIBSE has confirmed that it will be running its 100 hours of carbon clean-up campaign again this year. The campaign culminates in the low-carbon performance awards at the institution’s annual dinner in February 2010, and there will be a number of new categories. The new campaign will be launched in September.

This is CIBSE fourth carbon clean-up campaign. Last year’s campaign saw around 600 organisation sign up to cut carbon. For more information and to sign up to the 2009 campaign, visit the web site below.

Categories include new build of the year, refurbishment of teh year, client of the year and low-carbon manager of the year. Previous winners include Aecom (Faber Maunsell), the Natural History Museum,, Transport fo rLondon and BDP.
