Hattersley launches WRAS-approved ball valves

ball walve

Hattersley has launched a new range of WRAS-Approved (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) DZR brass ball valves. There are six compression sizes from 15 to 54 mm and eight threaded sizes from 0.25 to 2 in. Handle options include extended stem lever, T handle, lockshield and quarter-turn lever.

To reduce the risk of installation damager, extra seals have been added to the new ball valves. A metal-to-metal primary seal on the body seat retainer is combined with a Loctite 648 seal to provide greater strength and sealing capabilities. An O-ring seal in the main joint provides additional protection against leakage in the treaded versions.

Temperature range is -10 to +120°C. WRAS approval means they can be used with potable water.
