Replaceable bellows elements do not have tie bars

Supaflex offers a range of bellows for systems based on Kevlar and without tie bars. They are applicable to systems with working pressures up to about 8 bar and minimal elongation. They can be used at constant temperatures up to 120°C, and research has shown that they will withstand intermittent temperatures up to 176°C.

These EDPM Kevlar-reinforced bellows have a hard steel rim moulded in that does not pull out under pressure, unlike wire-reinforced collars.

Another important design feature is the use of split backing flanges to enable the rubber element to be simply replaced on site.

Most flange tables can be supplied.
