Hamworthy adds new features to Milborne boiler range

Hamworthy has made significant improvements to its Milborne range of wall-hung condensing boilers, which are available with four outputs from 38 to 100 kW.

New factory-made primary-circuit kits are available with a choice of low-loss header with single- or twin-head pump options. These kits take care of all the hydraulic requirements for the primary system and guarantee correct flow across each boiler module at all times. Thy are available for one and three circuits.

Built-in system controls can operate up to three secondary circuits at three different temperatures with three different pumps.

The upgraded flue system is based on polypropylene, so flue lengths can be easily cut on site. Components have lip-seal joints, so they can be assembled quickly using push-fit connections to create a pressure-tight installation that is resistant to acidic condensate.

Prefabricated flue-header kits include a non-return valve for each module to prevent flue gases flowing into modules that are not firing. They are available in diameters of 125 and 160 mm.

NOx emissions achieve European Class 5, and efficiencies are up to 109% net.
