Scorpion helps safeguard power at Royal Courts of Justice refurbishment
To provide protection for critical power requirements in the refurbished Queen’s Building at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, a Scorpion 358 kVA generator has been installed. It provides protection for CCTV, computers and also the communications installed by Computer Power Protection.
The generator has been equipped with the capability to test itself each week and has an auto-dial-out facility so that the system can be remotely checked.
Because the generator is installed outside, it has been fitted with a dual water-jacket heater to aid cold starting and a steel bund in accordance with the latest environmental regulations to retain any diesel spillage.
