Emcor wins PRUPIM integrated FM contract

Holborn Bars in central London is just one building of PRUPIM’s UK property portfolio for which Emcor Group (UK) now provides integrated facilities-management services.

Emcor Group (UK) has been appointed to provide integrated facilities-man­agement services across the UK commercial investment property portfolio of PRUPIM, a leading real-estate invest­ment manager. The contract covers services worth about £200 million over five years. It includes over 200 commercial properties and 1.6 million square meters of commercial space throughout the UK covering a range of principal commercial-property sect­ors, including retail parks, industrial estates, offices and business parks.

Also covered by the contract are PRUPIM’s flagship sustainable busi­ness park (Green Park in Reading) and landmark buildings such as Holborn Bars in London and the Royal Exchange in Manchester.

Under the contract, Emcor provides a total facilities-management contract to over 2500 occupiers nationwide. It includes building-engineering services, fabric maintenance, front-of-house services, cleaning and grounds maintenance. Emcor will also help with core activities such as service-charge accounting, energy management and the enhancement of customer satisfaction.
