ABB drives and motors catalogue for 2010 has new features to make it quick and simple to find the right motor for a particular application. The ‘product quickfinder’ is an easy-to-read table that helps the user product a shortlist of drives and motors for the applications. The ‘featurefinder’ then helps home in on exactly the right product. Finally, for further advice, there are contact details of all the ABB Drives Alliance and ABB motor Service Partners.

The main data tables for drives and motors include prices.

New products include a standard drive for pump and fan applications. Rated up to 22 kW, it has pump-control functions such a pipe cleaning, pipe fill and PID control.

Energy monitoring is now standard, with displays showing energy consumption, CO2 emissions and how much the drive is saving compared to a direct-online application.
