Highlands project benefits from oil-fired condensing boiler

Atlantic Boilers, condensing boiler, oil
Atlantic Boilers has supplied an oil-fired condensing boiler for the redevelopment of Glencanisp Lodge.

The redevelopment of Glencanisp Lodge in the north-west Highlands as part of a green-energy development initiative includes the installation of an oil-fired condensing boiler from Atlantic boilers. The 90 kW R Series boiler has been selected as a part-load boiler with a seasonal efficiency of over 94% GCV.

The boiler will condense at its maximum efficiency, even at flow/return temperatures of 82/71°C. Flue gases leave the first heat exchanger at less than 90°C and are then extracted from the second heat exchanger at a temperature that is always below 50°C.
