Consumer units include energy monitoring with remote sensors
Eaton’s Memera range of consumer units can now have integrated energy-monitoring facilities. They will be of interest to local authorities wanting to meet the requirement laid down in National Indicator 186 for reductions in CO2 emissions.
The Efergy wireless energy-monitoring system is pre-installed, and the sensor transmitters receive power direct from the consumer unit, so no batteries are needed.
Memera consumer units with energy monitoring are available in main-switch isolator controlled and RCCB versions. Both transmit data wirelessly to a remote LCD display that shows energy use and costs in real time. The device also stores information about energy costs, usage and CO2 emissions for up to 24 months.
