Glow-worm brings ‘intelligent’ control to boilers

Glow-worm boiler, control, space heating

Glow-worm’s range of ‘intelligent’ room controls is designed to work with its range of boilers to create advanced heating systems. The Climastat, Climapro and Climapro RF (radio frequency)

These ranges of controls are fully compatible with the Flexicom, Ultracom and Ultrapower sxi ranges of boilers.

Climastat is a room thermostat, and Climapro and Climapro RF are programmable room thermostats with two channels for the separate 7-day control of heating and hot water.

These controllers reduce the flow temperature to the heating system as the room setpoint is approached to achieve more efficient operation and a more stable room temperature.

Performance can be further enhanced by adding weather compensation.

When Climstat and Climapro (wired and RF) are used as room (load) or weather compensators, a further 2% can be added to the Boiler’s SEDBUK rating.
