Ecovert FM embarks on 32-year Chelmsford hospital maintenance contract

Ecovert FM is now responsible for maintenance services for the newly built extension at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford. It provides a 43 000 m2 new-build acute hospital with more than 350 beds, five day-case operating theatres, three endoscopy rooms, an A&E department, maternity department with two operating theatres, neonatal unit and rooftop helipad.

Via a team of 30 staff, Ecovert FM is delivering M&E and building-fabric maintenance services to the new building over a 32-year concession, as well as management of utilities, life-cycle fund and matters relating to health, safety and the environment.
