Priva makes energy monitoring more accessible

Priva’s web-hosted energy-monitoring software, Priva Energy Online, is set to make reducing energy use on a site-wide basis simpler than ever. Priva Energy Online has an attractive graphical interface to display information about energy management in an intuitive way to help companies target areas of high energy consumption so they can reduce their energy bills and carbon emissions.

It has been developed from the popular Erbis aM&T (automated monitoring and targeting) system from Van Beek, which has sold over a thousand licences.

Energy Online is said to be simpler and faster than its predecessor. It can provide detailed energy-consumption profiles and help with audits and project management without having to purchase or install new software.

Anders Noren, managing director of Priva Building Intelligence, explains, ‘An efficient energy-monitoring system provides essential insight into an organisation’s energy consumption. We estimate that the use of Priva Energy Online can provide annual energy saving to 5 to 15% by increasing awareness of how energy is used in an organisation and alerting users to instances of exceptional usage or spikes in consumption.’
