The Size IT program from Andrews Water Heaters gives designers a way to calculate the perfect type and size of water heater for any project. In addition, a section on low- and zero-carbon solutions give guidance on the fundamental principles of sizing a solar-thermal system using flat-plate or evacuated-tube options.

Factors taken into account are if the project is in the country, the annual amount of solar irradiation predicted, the size of the roof and the energy production available form different panel angles.

The Size IT software can easily be downloaded from the web site of Andrews Water Heaters.
