WindowMaster improves welcome at Irish service stations

WindowMaster, automated window system

WindowMaster is supplying an automated window-control system for six new motorway service stations in the Republic of Ireland. The control system is based on WindowMaster’s MotorLink technology and includes actuators and controls for facade windows in each service station.

These service stations range in size from 1200 to 1500 m2 and include an Applegreen convenience store, three food outlets with up to 240 seats and an 80 m2 play area.

Peter Connolly, WindowMaster’s sales manager for Ireland, explained, ‘The contract called for system design and delivery of the necessary components, also the required wiring diagrams and commissioning. The MotorLink solution was selected for its ability to provide 2-way communication between the control system and the individual window operators. Feedback from every window operator can provide precise window-position feedback, as well as a an early indication of any potential faults.’
