Finder extends PIR options

Finder, PIR, lighting control
Designed for longer range and higher loads — PIR sensors from Finder.

Additions to Finder’s 18 Series of PIR motion detectors can meet the needs of applications with higher ceilings, higher loads and those requiring direct interface to a PLC or BMS. There are two versions, one for flush fitting and the other for surface mounting.

These detectors will switch loads at any voltage and are not restricted to 230 V AC. The normally open volt-free contacts are rated at 10 A. 24 V AC/DC versions are available for applications without a mains supply or where low-voltage operation is required.

They have a sensing angle of 110° and a reach of 2.8 m. There is a high-bay variant with a sensing range of up to 8 m.

Features include adjustable setting for light threshold and a light-on time adjustment of up to 35 minutes, making them suitable for use with HID lamps.
