Houses of Parliament services receive an update

Refurbishment of services in the Houses of Parliament is being overseen by S. I. Sealy Associates.

A review of the building services for the Houses of Parliament is being undertake by S. I. Sealy Associates for the Parliamentary Estates Directorate. The project will see M&E plant updated and refurbished over the next four years. The company will also carry out a review of the designs of this refurbish­ment, which will include chilled-water systems, steam infra­structure, electrical low-voltage infrastructure systems and high-voltage substations, ventilation, building-management systems and ICT infrastructure.

David Stafford, director of S. I. Sealy, commented, ‘We are thrilled to have been appointed to review the building-services design of the Houses of Parliament, the most iconic building in the UK and one of the most iconic in the world.’
