Training for Microgeneration Certification

BDR Thermea, MCS, renewable energy

BDR Thermea offers a one-day course to help installers achieve accreditation with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme. It is suitable for contractors wanting to learn about the scheme and its related components, including Renewable Energy Assurance Listing, support on MCS listing and registration with MCS bodies.

The fee of £200 can be recovered using a £200 voucher redeemable against any BDR Thermea UK renewable product — including solar heating, biomass, microCHP and heat pumps.

Simon Osborne, channel specification manager, says, ‘Specifiers in the new-build and social-housing sector keen to choose renewable-heating solutions are faced with a shortfall in the number of trained microgeneration technology installers. We are helping to address this gap in the market and are keen to equip installers with the tools they need to build a greener future for UK homes.’
