Flexible patching on cable trays

Marco, Ethernet, patching, cable tray

A patching solution for Ethernet cables in steel-wire cable trays or straight-edged galvanised tray is available from Marco. Xspace flexible panels will accept standard LJ6C modules and are available with six-, 12- and 24-way cut-outs. Bend radius is not compromised, so the system can accept Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and shielded solutions.

Marco has also been working with structured-cabling manufacturers to develop a flexible panel to accept plug-and-play pre-terminated copper and fibre cassettes (MPO/MTP). These flexible panels have been designed for data centres and co-location applications, as well as above ceilings or below false floors in offices to provide an easily installed solution for managing a large number of cables.

Patching panels can be installed anywhere along a cable tray and simplify the work of moves, additions and changes.
