Wall-hung boiler minimises environmental impact

Stokvis, boiler

The R40 wall-mounted boiler from Stokvis incorporates the latest gas-heating technology to achieve maximum operating efficiencies with minimum environmental impact. For example, CO2 levels are 8.5 to 8.7%, and NOx emissions are less than 39 mg/kWh at 0% oxygen — exceeding requirements for maximum BREEAM credits.

Five models provide outputs from 60 to 142 kW. Boilers can be combined to form a Modupak to give outputs up to 1140 kW.

Consistently high efficiency is maintained by the double-helix heat exchanger, which provides lower hydraulic resistance and turbulent flow. It is also less susceptible to lime scale.

The heat exchanger is of stainless steel, which is resistant to corrosion and achieves a significantly longer lifespan.
