Sudlows wins major cabling contract

Sudlows has won the framework contract for the installation of structured-cabling systems at Leeds Metropolitan University. The infrastructure comprises a combination of structured cabling and a blend of blown and conventional fibre systems to ensure that services to students and staff receive a fast and reliable bandwidth delivery.

Ben Lavelle, connectivity divisional director, comments, ‘This is great news for Sudlows, who have a proven track record of successfully delivering connectivity projects for a number of UK universities.’

Leeds Metropolitan University has around 26 000 students. Its award-winning learning environments include the Rose Bowl building (pictured) and Broadcasting Place.
