AET launches gas-fired absorption chillers
Direct-gas-fired absorption chillers from AET can supply chilled water and hot water according to the requirements of the building. The advanced design of SAB-DF chillers ensures they are economical to install and run. They use an innovative flow system for the cooling water to provide a large temperature differential on the chilled-water and cooling-water circuits to reduce flow rate.
The benefits of large temperature differentials include less energy used by the circulating pump and heat-rejection fan, and reduced pipe sizes to save space and cut costs.
Models are available with flow/return temperatures of 7/15°C and 7/12°C.
There are 17 models of high-efficiency chiller with a COP of 1.35 and cooling capacities from 420 to 3520 kW and heating from 380 to 3160 kW.
Standard-efficiency chillers have a COP of 1.2 for versions with standard and large temperature differentials. Cooling capacities are from 420 to 4400 kW and heating from 380 to 3950 kW.
These chillers have a factory-fitted micro-processor controller which is fully tested before shipment. A touchscreen shows operational status and fault indication.
