Bitzer, compressor control

The latest edition of Bitzer’s publication ‘Competence in capacity control’ contains information about the company’s CR system for effective capacity control in the Ecoline compressor range for air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.

The CR system is one of a number of systems and methods for component capacity control in the 24-page publication. It explains why capacity control has major advantages over designing a system with over-capacity and outlines the different methods of control.

There is also guidance on how to select and apply the most suitable variable-speed drive for reciprocating, screw or scroll compressor with integrated capacity control.
