Integrated packaged pumping solutions

Armstrong, pump set

Armstrong’s latest generation of integrated, predesigned packaged-pump solutions reduce first installed cost and project risk and deliver outstanding energy-efficiency. Building on the Armstrong 8000 series of pump packaged the iFMS (integrated fluid-management system) achieves energy-efficient performance across a wider operating envelope than ever before.

Designed with a built-in safety net, they continue to optimise the energy efficiency of an installation, even if operational requirements change during the design process or after installation — avoiding the risk of under-performance or the need for replacement.

These pump packages are fully assembled and tested before leaving the factory. Poor system integration during installation is avoided, and the pump solution can be manufactured as other parts of the project proceed to reduce the schedule significantly.

Armstrong’s Sensorless design feature means that external sensors are not needed to monitor and control the HVAC load, removing the additional cost and technical complexity of installing variable-frequency drives.

Installation cost savings are also provided by Armstrong suction guides and Flo-Trex valves to reduce the requirement for pipework and fittings and perform multiple functions with a single component.
