Chilled-ceiling system has pre-embedded pipes

Rehau, chilled ceiling, air conditioning

Rehau’s CoolBoard chilled-ceiling system is a one-piece system with polymer pipework pre-embedded into plasterboard panels. Pre-drilled fixing holes make it quick and easy to install. Pipe tails from the boards are connected using Rehau Everloc compression sleeve fittings, which guarantee no leaks, and then onto a manifold system for circulating warm or chilled water.

Standard CoolBoards have a cooling capacity of up to 65 W/m2. The high-performance version has graphite particles embedded in the board to achieve a cooling capacity of up to 75 W/m2.

CoolBoards are said to perform exceptionally well with renewable-energy systems.

There are four sizes of board, all finished with a sharp edge on all sides for precise jointing.
