A.O. Smith delivers heating and hot water for new superstore

A.O. Smith has supplied equipment to meet heating and hot-water demand for ASDA’s new 3530 m2 store in Lidget Green, Bradford. The equipment was specified by consultant Dave Dickinson Associates and installed by Yorkshire Building Services.

A BFC Cyclone water heater with an ITS indirect tank and an Epsilon boiler provide heating and hot water for toilets, canteen and bakery areas.

The BFC Cyclone condensing water heater can achieve an efficiency of 97% gross and comes with automatic gas/air premix, fully modulating burner and low-maintenance powered anodes. Water temperatures can be programmed between 40 and 60°C, and there is a legionella purge cycle.

The recently launched Epsilon gas-fired condensing boilers are available with outputs of 38 and 51 kW. They have premix modulating burners.
