Kitchen ventilation unit

Vent-Axia, kitchen ventilation

Vent-Axia’s Lo-Carbon Kitchen Box Fan meets the requirements set out in the 2013 edition of the non-domestic buildings compliance guide requiring a specific fan power of less than 1 W/l/s in new and existing building. A 12-month payback can be achieved when upgrading from AC motors.

These units incorporate an efficient long-life EC motor with efficient backward-curved impeller and integral potentiometer for manual speed control. Energy and running costs are up to 44% less than AC motors with transformer speed control.

The motor is outside the airstream, enabling duct temperatures of up to 120°C to be handled.

These units can be installed indoor or outdoors. Duct connections can be in any direction — blowing straight through or turning 90°, with the ducts vertically, horizontally or both.
