Sportlight on Russia

Supporting the successful Olympic Winter Games at Sochi were nearly 400 pump/pump systems supplied by Grundfos Pumps. The solutions were developed to handle the immediate demands of the games while keeping the post-games needs in mind.

Grundfos supplied pump solutions for the central stadium, media centre and athletes’ villages.

There are also pump solutions to support new power plants, improve the fresh-water supply, bolster the energy capacity and keep a new access tunnel safe.

Pumps were also supplied for many other spin-off projects such as hotels.
