Evaporative cooling for small server rooms

Energy-efficient evaporative cooling can be applied to telecoms rooms and small server rooms using a 15 kW evaporative cooler from EcoCooling. These areas have traditionally been expensive to cool because of the inefficient and often unsuitable refrigeration cooling units used.

These evaporative cooling units use 400 W of electricity to remove 15 kW of heat and can save over £10 000 a year in cooling costs. They are even more efficient at part load, with 5 kW of cooling requiring less than 50 W of electricity.

They are simpler and cheaper to install than conventional split systems.
