Over a hundred Baxi employees joined forces at the customers support centre in Warwick to take telephone donations for this year’s Sport Relief. The team answered 2311 calls during the charity’s live entertainment show on BBC1 television and took £67 549 in donations. The grand total raised was over £51 million.

Employees from Norwich, Wokingham, Preston, Erdington and field-based engineers and sales employees joined their Warwick-based colleagues.

Baxi would like to thank local businesses Balloon Monkey for donating balloons to decorate the call centre, Rumbles Catering and Domino’s pizza who donated food which helped to keep the team going. D&G and Cognito also provided prizes, fruit and refreshments and Chesford Grange Hotel who provided discounted rooms to employees who travelled long distances.
