Titan introduces more CO2 sensors

BMS, BEMS, controls, Titan, CO2 sensor

Titan Products has extended its TPZ-Net range of Zigbee wireless sensors with the addition of two CO2 sensors. Both sensors are designed for comfort control in schools, offices and other applications where CO2 levels need to be maintained at comfortable concentrations.

One of the sensors, the TPZCO2T/L has an LED indicator for CO2 while still having a battery life of up to three years. It monitors CO2 and temperature and transmits the data to the TPZ-COORD co-ordinator via Zigbee. The co-ordinator interprets this information and passes it to a BACnet network for reading and using by any BMS.

The other product, the TPZCO2/IND, just indicates CO2. It is designed for applications that only require an indication that CO2 levels are getting high. Occupants can then open a window to admit fresh air.
