SCS Group has prepared a guidance document on smoke-control systems for enclosed or underground car parks. Called ‘Car park ventilation demystified’, it uses plain language and illustrations to show just how simple the solutions can be.

Managing director Allan Meek explains, ‘We’re making it easier for those specifying and installing systems by publishing this explanation of all the relevant standards, regulations, accreditations and legislations — as well as detailing what comprises a modern jet-fan system and how exactly they work.’

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
