Dalkia becomes Veolia

Dalkia, Veolia

Dalkia, part of the Veolia group, has adopted the Veolia brand name in the UK to enable the company to offer customers a wider range of environmental services, in addition to its energy-management and utilities services. While the name changed reflects the closer integration of the group, Dalkia will continue to provide customers with its expertise in developing, constructing and operating greener and more economical energy solutions under the new name.

Pat Gilroy, formerly Dalkia’s CEO, will head the renamed UK subsidiary and chief operating officer for industrial customers in the UK.

He said, ‘Dalkia has managed the energy activity of Veolia for the past 13 years. For brand clarity purposes, this change to align with the Veolia brand has been considered for a long time.

‘This will not impact on the services we provide to our customers, and we have retained all of our energy and utilities experiences. The change does mean that the newly integrated company will be able to provide significant benefits in terms of the environments offer to our clients.’
